Venue: castle, romantic villa, chateau

Colour combinations: pink, purple together with silver white, gold

Wedding announcement: white paper, hand-written with symbol of golden rings, or just very simple white with white decors, silver writing.

Wedding ceremony decorations: red or white carpet covered by rose petals, flower arch with roses, ribbons and organza. The middle chairs round the carpet may be decorated with flowers.

Wedding reception decorations: pink and white roses in your bouquet should appear also at the reception table together with lots of candles and rose petals. Make it look like a dream. Prepare little gifts for your guest, such as sweet almonds in a pinky organza bag.

Flowers: roses, hydrogena, peony, combination of white, pink and mauve.

Menu: typical Czech wedding menu: home-made beef dumpling soup, roast sirloin with vegetable cream sauce and home-made dumplings, apple strudel, traditional honey cake or a wedding cake. For the evening: smoked ham, grilled meat, grilled sausages, vegetables, roasted pig.

Wedding cake: simple rounded, or a little bit modern square decorated simply with white or pinky ribbon or just marzipan marbles around, topped up with fresh flowers in the style of the decorations. You can put figures of the two of you on the top, funny ones to make it original.

Music: string quartet for the ceremony or reception, organ in the church, jazz band for the cocktail, Czech band which can sing in English, piano with a singer

Our tip: release the pigeons together, plant a tree together – it is a very nice romantic tradition. Keep a piece of your wedding cake frozen for your first anniversary.
