River dream

If you love whispering of the sea, the sea atmosphere itself, if you liked to spend your day by the water, enjoy the summer atmosphere, evening sit-down at the terrace listening to water, this is the right theme for you. The magic of this theme consists in the fact that even if you are in Prague, you can easily use places by the Vltava river, decorations and other details finish your idea of a sea wedding.




Venue: beach, boat, hotels or restaurants by the river, fish restaurants, venue with a pool
We suggest: all possible boats in Prague – from little wooden ones until the biggest possible, beach in Prague called Zlute Lazne, Zofin garden, Strelecky island, Golfyacht, Hergetova cihelna, Mlynec

Wedding announcement: paper in the colour of sand, symbol of anchor or shells, decorative or very simple writing. Another way how to let your guests know about the wedding is by sending them the note in a bottle.


Wedding ceremony decorations: ceremony can take place on a riverside in Prague, or simply on a boat itself. There should be white covers on the chairs, arch covered with exotic flowers topped up with motives of the sea (sea shells, starfish, blue ribbons).

Wedding reception decorations: exotic flowers, white roses, orchids, hydrogena, simple elegant lively flowers. The flowers can be arranged into the sand, surrounded by shells and other sea details. If the reception takes place on a boat, you can play with blue and white colours. There can be boat ropes in the decorations, lamps, touch of stripes.

Menu: Mediterranean cuisine

Wedding cake: rounded cake with a blue and white ribbon with shells on it. If the wedding takes place on a boat, a little rope can take place of the ribbon.

Music: mediterranean music

Gifts for your guests: flip flops with your initials, gift-wrapped marzipan shells, little decorative bottles filled with coloured sand or bath salt, sailboat with your name and date of the wedding on it.

Honeymoon: go rafting to South Bohemia or Sazava river

Our tip: ask your guests to come in an informal beach dress or in blue. Blow the shell everytime you want to announce some important happening at the wedding such as ceremony, cutting of the cake, first dance, etc. Also you can ring the boat bell. Hire the Caribbean dancers to perform and teach your guests some dances.
