Magic garden

This theme is ideal for those who like the summer ease, informal atmosphere, flowers and looking at the sky, nature itself. Prepare a garden wedding where your guests will feel like home and will never forget about it. Serve home-made delicacies, typical Czech wedding pastries and dishes.

Wedding announcement: hand-made announcement and name tages in the spirit of the theme – for example stands for the name tags made of cork, numbers of the tables in wooden frames.

Wedding ceremony decorations: it is the best to choose one or two colours and combine them with white. The ceremony takes place in the garden so guests can be seated on garden chairs. Edges of the aisle can be covered with coloured rose petals.

Wedding reception decorations: White covers, golden or wooden chairs, wreaths, flowerpots, flowers in jars, metal buckets just with water and simple flowers, lanterns and torches for the evening light. There can be a special wedding gift table with wooden frames with pictures from the childhood, bird cages for wedding cards etc. Instead of numbers of the tables you can use names of the flowers.

Flowers: little flowers in metal buckets or jars, flowers which can be used: marguerite, meadow flowers, tulips, hydragena, sunflower, peony, fresia, tea rose, violet.

Gifts for your guests: flowers from the decoration, home-made honey in pretty jars with the date of the wedding and your names

Menu: typical czech wedding menu: home-made beef dumpling soup, roast sirloin with vegetable cream sauce and home-made dumplings, apple strudel. For the evening: smoked ham, grilled meat, grilled sausages, vegetables, roasted pig, etc.

Wedding cake: simple rounded, decorated with fruit. You can serve the typical Czech cake called „medovnik“ – it can be decorated the same way like other flavours, but it´s made of honey. There can be a special table for other types of cakes.

Music: country music, guitar, cymbalo band, typical Czech brass band.

Our tip: prepare a picnic basket for each one of the guests. Ask your guests to wear hats. Use the symbols of this theme – birds, bees, butterflies at the announcements, napkins… Hang bird cages or metal lanterns with hearts on trees and put candles in them. After the ceremony, plant a tree together.
